Work on the new changing room and toilet facility at Greville Reserve is underway.
The facility will replace the existing one at the East Coast Road and Forrest Hill Road side of the grounds. It will include two toilet areas connected to changing room areas for sports teams using the recently installed artificial turf.
It will also feature outdoor seating, a bike rack and access paths.
Once finished, it will mark the completion of several projects at the reserve that have improved access, increased capacity, and expanded the range of sports offerings.
Greville Reserve now has an improved skate park, a basketball court, children’s playground, a learn‑to-ride bike circuit, an artificial turf, new car parking and a cycle path connecting to Devonport-Takapuna Local Board’s growing greenways network.
The new facility is expected to be completed in June.
