Meet Tyke, a playful, confident young man who loves everyone. He is energetic and enthusiastic in his approach to life.
He loves food, toys and praise, so he is highly motivated for training. Tyke has had some training and already knows “sit”, but will need an experienced owner who is willing to continue with this to help him blossom into the great dog we know he is.
He would suit a couple or a family with older children over the age of eight years with no cats or stock. Tyke will require walks of up to an hour per day as an adult.

You will need to have a fully fenced section or a suitable containment area in order to adopt a dog from an Auckland Council animal shelter.
As Tyke is over six months of age, he will cost $230 to adopt which includes micro-chipping, de-sexing, registration, worm and flea treatment. He will also have had his first vaccination and a vet check.
