The blue pollen of these rare fuchsia are a treat for visitors to the Botanic Gardens.

There are different types of fuchsia all over the world but only in New Zealand and Tahiti do they have blue pollen.

Creeping fuchsia, also known as trailing fuchsia, is usually found on the coast. It’s easy to grow and makes a great groundcover for home gardens.

Visit Auckland Botanic Gardens to see creeping fuchsia and 10,000 other plants from around the world. For more information and to plan your visit see the Botanic Gardens website.
