Don't forget to visit the Forget-me-not at the Botanic Gardens

With their delicate white rosette like leaves, forget-me-not are a firm favourite with visitors to Auckland’s Botanic Gardens.

Of all the types of plants on the threatened plant list, forget-me-nots have the most types listed. Around 100 are threatened with extinction. One is a local, and is only found on Auckland’s Waitakere coast.

Conservation is a key priority for the gardens and forget-me-not can be seen growing in the Threatened Natives Plants section.
