Late April will see the opening of a fantastic new opportunity for Auckland visitors and locals to take part in a unique water sport experience.
After years of negotiation and development, the Vector Wero Whitewater Park is set to open on 27 April beside the Vodafone Events Centre.
The park will cater to multiple activities and skill levels. It provides a safe environment where people can improve skills and confidence in a challenging water environment.
Even though this is not in the Franklin area, it is near enough for communities and school groups to have a great day out. I congratulate the developers on their great vision for this world-class facility.
