New Zealand's much loved anti-littering character is undergoing a makeover and so far 15,000 students are taking part.
“We're asking students around the country to have their say on the design direction Tidy Kiwi is taking. The public can also take a short survey to share their views” says Richard Leckinger, ALPSG Programme Manager.

The Auckland Litter Prevention Steering group wants to revitalise Tidy Kiwi so that a new generation of New Zealanders can discover this iconic identity and come together to protect what we love.
“Once the new mascot has been finalised, it will be made available for everyone to use to spread the anti-littering message,” Mr Leckinger said.
“Being a tidy kiwi makes me feel like I’ve done a humongous thing to make the world a better place. It makes me feel proud,” 8 year old boy, Auckland.
