A new playground has been installed in Seine Reserve in Milford, providing local children with a better play experience.
The playground includes a climbing frame for older children, and a range of equipment for young ones.
At the nearby Milford Beach Reserve, there are also plans for an improved playground.
Local families can expect to see new equipment being installed for them to enjoy by the end of this coming summer.
Older children and teenagers will also be pleased to hear of plans for a new 3x3 basketball court at Milford Reserve.
This project is in the resource consent stage, but is due to be under construction by the end of this summer. Its location is likely to be near the existing beach volleyball court.
