Waiheke locals have been acting as beach ambassadors on the island’s most popular beaches this summer.
The Waiheke Beach Ambassadors provide visitors to Onetangi, Oneroa and Palm Beach with advice on things to see and do.
They also share the philosophy of ‘caring for and loving Waiheke’ and promote a ‘pack in and pack out’ approach to help reduce waste.
You can spot the ambassadors by their blue uniforms. Be sure to say hello and help them keep Waiheke beautiful.
