The AT Park smartphone app launched on 7 March. It provides a more convenient and user-friendly way to pay for parking.
The app is easy to use. After parking, enter the area ID and your vehicle registration number. This information is sent to the mobile devices used by parking officers, so there is no need to visit a parking machine or display a ticket.
Once you are ready to leave, simply stop the session in the app and drive away. You will be charged for the exact amount of time you parked – down to the minute.
If you are worried you may forget to stop the session before leaving, you can tell the app to send you a text reminder after a set period of time.
The app charges the fee straight to the credit card you register in your MyAT account.
