Here’s why Auckland’s parks are the greatest:
There are endless experiences to be enjoyed in our parks, all year round. In fact, there’s so many it would take you more than 10 years to visit every park in Auckland – one park a day, every day.
Auckland Council Head of Parks Services Mark Bowater says Auckland’s parks are some of the best and unique spaces in the world.
“Auckland has more than 4000 parks and no two parks are the same,” he says.
“We encourage all Aucklanders to get out in our local and regional parks and discover the hidden gems and world-class experiences we’re lucky to have right across the region.
