The City Rail Link’s Albert Street safety hoardings have gone from boring to beautiful with the addition of almost 100 photographic images of Albert Street architecture and businesses.
The images were taken by photographer Dan Davis and organised into collections by designer Michelle Ardern. Angus Muir Design then printed them on PVC mesh scrim using a double-ink process for added variety.
The result is a collection of slightly transparent panels that bring colour and vibrancy to the area and reduce the visual impact of the construction work.
The panels are recyclable and can be easily moved to other locations as work on the CRL progresses.
