Ōrākei Local Board is planning the future of the Ōrākei Domain. including for the sports fields and the southern part of the park, also known as Ngake Walkway.
Initial consultation with the wider public has started. This will help the council and local board get an understanding of how the domain's significant open space should look in the future and what features and facilities it should provide. The feedback will help direct a concept plan for the domain, and a final plan is expected in mid-2018.
Local residents and the current users of the park are encouraged to provide feedback on what they would like to see in Ōrākei Domain to meet more of the community's needs.
Consultation on the Ōrākei Domain improvement project is open from 15 November to 6 December 2017.
