Thinking about booking your next getaway at one of Auckland’s beautiful regional parks?
Great news! You can now book and pay for our regional park baches, lodges, campgrounds and other bookable facilities online via the Auckland Council website.
Patricia Reade, Auckland Council Director People & Performance, says the new system is part of the council’s initiatives to digitise our most common customer transactions online.
“This new system has been driven by customer demand for an online bookings service and to provide better value for ratepayers.
“It is an easy, on-demand service that puts customers in charge of their own bookings, anytime and anywhere,” she says.
Book unique accommodation right at your fingertips
The new online booking system allows you to:
- Pay online and receive immediate confirmation of your booking.
- Search the council’s unique regional park Holiday Places, including 21 baches, 2 lodges, over 40 campgrounds and 27 bookable sites.
- Make and amend a booking 24/7, allowing you to book when it’s convenient for you.
- Complete multiple bookings in the same transaction.
Want to speak to us directly?
If you prefer to book and pay in person, you can do so at one of our Auckland Council customer service centres across the region.
Tentative bookings can also be made with us over the phone. To secure this booking, payment needs to be made within two working days at one of our service centres, as we are no longer offering over-the-phone payments.
“We are removing our seasonal booking windows for all accommodation bookings to make things fairer for customers and to enable us to manage peak volumes,” says Patricia.
