Do you know someone who deserves to be recognised? Nominate them for an Ōrākei Local Board Community Volunteer Award.
Ōrākei Local Board Chair Kit Parkinson says there are many dedicated volunteers and local groups who go above and beyond to contribute towards making local board area a great place to live.
“Our local board immensely values community-led work and our Community Volunteer Awards is one of the ways we celebrate this. We encourage people to make nominations,” he said.
You can nominate a person or local group based within the Ōrākei Local Board area by using the online nomination form.
Nominations are open from Wednesday 17 March, closing Sunday 19 May 2019.
The successful nominees will be recognised at the Ōrākei Local Board Community Volunteers Awards ceremony, which will be held at St Chads Church & Community Centre on Wednesday 5 June 2019.
