Waitākere Ranges Local Board has awarded $26,000 in grants to community organisations for projects ranging from the arts to surf lifesaving.
Grants are awarded to groups and organisations delivering projects, activities and services that benefit Aucklanders and contribute to the vision of being a world-class city.
Important part
Waitākere Ranges Local Board Chair Greg Presland says that it is an important part of what the board does.
“Our grants programme is really important”, he says. “They help organisations who ordinarily wouldn’t have the means to deliver important programmes and initiatives that really benefit the community.”
