Whau Local Board member Duncan Macdonald has resigned as a member of the board with immediate effect.
Auckland Council Chief Executive, Stephen Town says, “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Macdonald for his service on Whau Local Board dating back to the start of Auckland Council in 2010, as well as his years of service to the community before then.”
The board is not required to fill the seat given the upcoming local government elections in October.
