The Hobsonville Point weekday ferry timetable will undergo some minor changes from Monday in response to customer feedback.
At the moment, weekday ferry services go from the Downtown Ferry Terminal to Beach Haven to Hobsonville Point to Beach Haven to the Downtown Ferry Terminal.
Customer feedback showed that passengers would prefer a more convenient route, so Auckland Transport (AT) has decided to change the service pattern.
It will now be Downtown Ferry Terminal to Hobsonville Point to Beach Haven to Hobsonville Point to Downtown Ferry Terminal.

Gareth Willis, Ferry Services Manager for AT, says that although this might seem minor, the end result is a quicker, more convenient journey for Hobsonville Point customers.
“This is our main catchment into the city. It will also help with on-time performance as well. This is a great example of AT being responsive to customer feedback and wellbeing.”
Mr Willis says AT will also make positive changes to the weekend schedule.
“Following the successful introduction of weekend services in January this year, patronage has been beyond our expectations. As a result, we will be offering an additional return service during the middle of the day on the route. This will be supported by additional staff on-board the services at the busier times.”
The weekend service is funded by Kāinga Ora, HPRS, Willis Bond, AV Jennings, Classic, Jalcon and Universal – until January 2020.
