There is so much happening across our region this month, with events and activities for all interests and ages.

Music in Parks
These are just some of the free concerts this month, showcasing home-grown Kiwi talent in a local park setting:
- Uptown Sounds - 2pm-6pm, 15 February, Basque Park, Eden Terrace
Featuring Pluto, Ed Waaka, SOJOURN, The BackChat and Suzy Cato’s Kids’ Stage - The Hits Kiwi Anthems - 2pm-6pm, 23 February, Lloyd Elsmore Park, Pakuranga
Music by The Feelers, Anika Moa, Jason Kerrison and AutoMatic 80s.

Movies in Parks
Grab your family and friends, pack the picnic blanket and enjoy a summer’s evening under the stars at these free outdoor movie screenings. Pre-movie entertainment from 6.20pm, movies start ten minutes after the sun goes down.

- Abominable - 15 February, Stanmore Bay Park, Whangaparāoa
- Wonder Park - 21 February, Henderson Park, Henderson
- Dumbo - 22 February, Hamlin Park, Mount Wellington

Sculpture in the Gardens, Auckland Botanic Gardens
This free event runs until 1 March and is a great opportunity to see large-scale artworks from New Zealand’s best-known and up-and-coming sculptors. The event has a walking trail to follow and most paths in the gardens are accessible for wheelchair users, pushchairs and mobility scooters.
