Auckland is my Playground is back. The popular mission-based challenge on the Goosechase app returns for the holidays, running from 8am on Saturday 26 September to 8pm on Sunday 11 October.
#AKLPlay is designed to help families plan fun free days across the Tāmaki Makaurau region.
With missions at home, your local park and playgrounds there is lots to keep the energy flowing wherever you are in the region.
There are also missions around exploring different parts of Tāmaki Makaurau to help you plan some great days out.
Activation Advisor Jacquelyn Collins explains: “We’ve listened to teams’ feedback from our July #AKLPlay game and are releasing all of our ‘destination’ missions on the first day of the game, so players can plan days out to different parts of the city.”
If having a quieter day is more your buzz, or if the weather isn’t that great, #AKLPlay has you covered as well, with missions to direct participants to school holiday programs in Auckland Libraries.
So, let’s get to it Tāmaki Makaurau! It’s quick and easy to get started:
- Search for and download the free GooseChase app in the app store (Android and iOS).
- Open the app and either play as a guest or sign up for a new account.
- Join the game by searching for ‘#AKLPlay’ or the code L75D9K. Either go solo, join as a family team or with flatmates (must play with your same household).
- Sign up now – you’ll get an alert as soon as the game goes live!
