Auckland Council and Auckland Transport will be accepting applications for the next round of rental e-scooter and rental bike licences in June 2022. Successful companies will be able to start operating on 4 September 2022.
Existing licences will expire on 3 September 2022.
All new applications will be licensed through Auckland Council’s Public Trading, Events and Filming Bylaw 2022 and Auckland Transport’s Proposed Road Activities Bylaw (to be finalised in May 2022).
