On Wednesday 7 June 2023, Auckland Council made an urgent application to the Office of the Auditor General for declarations under the Local Authorities’ (Member’s Interest) Act 1968 to enable all elected members to participate in today’s decisions on the council's Annual Budget 2023/2024 - in relation to the ownership of Auckland International Airport Limited shares.
