Discover your favourite spot and choose from some great locations like Te Waituarua Reserve in Papakura or Omana Esplanade Reserve in Franklin – both with access to epic beachside playgrounds.

There’s also Kiwi Esplanade in Mangere a local favourite for bird watching or Eastern Beach for coastal views. For those in the Mt Albert area, there’s also Ōwairaka Park – a lovely spot for picnics and family fun thanks to the nearby playground/flying fox.

Out West you’ll find Te Ara Manawa/Hobsonville Point Path - a lovely 5k coastal walkway that loops around the peninsula’s shoreline with access to off-leash dog park Te Onekiritea Point. If you’re in the mood for a waterfront stroll, check out the Devonport Waterfront Path up North which offers great views of the Waitemata Harbour as you walk along the promenade.

If you’re keen to try your hand at tennis and pickleball, check out Brylee Drive Reserve which is also the starting point for the coastal walkway on the edge of the Manukau Harbour.
