Help play a role in deciding the future of your local suburbs by getting involved in the 2026 / 2027 Annual Plan.

The plan sets out what Auckland Council aims to achieve during the 2026 / 2027 financial year, the services that will be provided, how much money will be spent and where this money will come from.

The Annual Plan also builds on the progress made in the Long-term Plan (2024-2034).

For the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki ward, this includes a range of projects and priorities, such as funding for local sports clubs and facilities to strengthen participation and collaboration, as well as progressing plans for Waikaraka Park.

Ward councillor Josephine Bartley says it’s important to have your say.

“It’s important to have a voice and help play a role in shaping the future of where you live, the facilities you use, and where future funding should be allocated. We live in a diverse and exciting ward, and by having your say in the Annual Plan, you’ll be involved in what investment you see and experience in your area.”
