After more than three years leading Auckland's recovery from major storms in 2023, the Tāmaki Makaurau Recovery Office closed on 30 June 2026.
Longer-term work continues where it makes sense in Auckland Council, including a new future-focused recovery team within Auckland Emergency Management.
