About Maraetai Community Hall
The Maraetai Community Hall is a beautiful heritage hall, hand-built by the community reputedly in one day over 70 years ago, and it has flourished in the passage of time. Situated in a quaint location in the hills above Maraetai Beach, the hall is run by a passionate committee who are dedicated to returning the hall to its former glory, so it can continue to provide great experiences and memories for generations to come.

Venue hire
Maraetai Community Hall is in a beautiful location, just up from the beach and surrounded by pōhutukawa trees. The hall is a great location to hold children's birthday parties, weddings and fitness classes with a capacity of 140 people; there is plenty of room for your event. The venue maintains many heritage features such as beautiful wooden paneling and a stage at the front. There is easy access to an equipped kitchen, so self-catering is an option. The committee and community are open to receiving proposals for new activities to make this treasured hall as vibrant as possible.
