About Papakura Old Central School Hall
This hall is located on Wood Street within the beautiful Central Park Reserve. It opened for classes in 1877 and was the only school in the district of Papakura until 1954. Since its closure as a school in the early 1970s, the building has been home to a number of community-based groups, with two of the former classrooms now hirable spaces.
Our team
Our venue hire team is available Monday to Thursday from 8am to 6.30pm and Friday from 9am to 4.30pm.
Venue hire
The Main hall has a piano and kitchen facilities available with a capacity of 100 people. The smaller Main room can accommodate up to 40 people and has a whiteboard and a kitchenette. There is also off-street parking available. Papakura Old Central School Hall can be booked from 5am to midnight, 7 days a week, including public holidays.
