About Riverside - Taha Awa Community Centre
Riverside - Taha Awa Community Centre is a small community facility on the Western banks of the Tāmaki Estuary. It has long served the local community since the early 1970s, providing a safe space for local youth, church groups, community activities, birthday parties and private functions. Its central location provides easy access to the wider Auckland suburbs.
Our team
Our venue hire team is available Monday to Thursday from 8am to 6.30pm and Friday from 9am to 4.30pm.
Venue hire
The space can hold up to 70 people seated or 100 standing. There are kitchen facilities, a whiteboard and a projector screen available. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and there are 7 off-street parking spaces available. Riverside -Taha Awa Community Centre can be booked from 7am to 10pm Sunday to Thursday, and 7am to midnight on Friday and Saturday, including public holidays.
