Appeal for witnesses following cruel slaughter of gannets at famous Muriwai bird colony

Auckland Council, Police and the Department of Conservation (DOC) are calling for anyone with information about the shooting deaths of eight gannets, or tākapu, at Maukatia, Muriwai’s iconic gannet colony to come forward.
