Almost 400 people visited the newly refurbished Mt Albert town centre at its official opening on Saturday 19 May to enjoy a vibrant atmosphere and the unique character of one of Auckland's oldest suburbs.
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Auckland Mayor Phil Goff attended the opening ceremony along with members of Albert-Eden Local Board.

The upgrade has been a priority project for Albert-Eden Local Board.
