Saturday 4 May, 2pm - 3pm - Kairos (Local Blues Duo)

Kairos was formed by Marcus (guitar, slide guitar, tenor guitar, harmonica and vocals) and Bill (bass, guitar, tenor guitar, and vocals). Kairos play both instrumentals and songs. Their core genre is blues, particularly acoustic blues, but they’re equally at home in rock or indie folk.

Saturday 11 May, 1pm - 2pm - Violin Ensemble

Enjoy an enchanting performance by students of Dr Ashok Malur, presenting South Indian classical music, known as Carnatic music on the Violin.

Sunday 12 May, 2pm - 3pm (Mother’s Day!) - West City Strings Ensemble

West City String Orchestra has put together a small ensemble to play for you on Mother’s Day.

The all ages ensemble will be playing a wide variety of pieces…so you're sure to find something you'll enjoy!

Saturday 18 May, 2pm - 3pm - Celtic Ferret

Celtic Ferret (Jean Reid & Ian Bartlett) are based in West Auckland and well known on the New Zealand folk scene. Regular performers at festivals, folk clubs and other venues Celtic Ferret are delighted to be taking part in

New Zealand Music Month. The sounds of guitar, mandolin, whistles, smallpipes, bodhran, harmonica and flutes anchor their songs from the British Tradition and beyond. Join Celtic Ferret for an hour of music, song and stories.

All performances are free so please do come along to celebrate NZ Music Month 2024 and support your local musicians!
