'Te Awa' by Jean Yern.

Te Whenua pays homage to the whenua through inspired soundscapes and lush blue video lightscapes. Through the installation and activity booklet, you can experience the rich wairua of Te Whenua. Bask and listen to the tōiriiri solfeggio frequencies.

“My vision is that visitors leave TE WHENUA feeling a sense of calm and peace with a strengthened awareness of the value of mātauranga Māori as a way to tackle local environmental issues, ensuring that the intergenerational relationships of taiao, whenua and tāngata can flourish.”   - Jean Yern, artist

This event will run at the Central City Library from the 26th- 29th June 2024. Timings from 11am - 2pm.
