The Dawoodi Bohra are a Muslim Community who follow the Shia Ismaili Taiyyebi faith. Their community centre, Vajihi Markaz, was established in West Auckland in 2009 and is used for their religious and cultural activities.

The centre is an example of how new migrants to the country are starting with a centre where they can meet, pray and gather as a cultural and religious community – and at the same time practice outreach to the wider community and adapt to their new lives in the Pacific.

The Auckland Inter-Faith Council (AIFC) and the Dawoodi Bohra will host this event which includes a guided tour through the community centre, sampling key cultural elements of the community and allowing participants the possibility of Questions & Answers.
