New Zealand-born Samoan and Tongan artists respond to the 1970s Dawn Raids in Aotearoa. Their work challenges and educates on a dark part of our history. 'Niu', the Samoan word for coconut (a derogatory term for Pasifika people), pronounced like 'new' suggests a fresh start.
Supported by funding from Creative New Zealand.
