Marshall Lorenzo is a comedy writer back home in Aotearoa after writing the debut season of Canada’s Drag Race, produced by the Emmy Award-winning creators of RuPaul’s Drag Race. He is the former head writer of the multi-Canadian Comedy Award-winning troupe The Sketchersons. Known for their famous show Sunday Night Live.
He is part of the 2019 Canadian Comedy award-winning ensemble queer sketch show Extravaganza Eleganza which was named one of the 2018 Now Magazine top 5 comedy shows to watch.
He’s performed regularly in the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival and the ‘Best of the Fest’ showcase in the 2018 Montreal Sketch Comedy Festival, and the 2019 JFL Solo Sketch Showcase. Marshall is a graduate of the Second City Conservatory.
His 2024 five time nominated show Baby Gorgeous was featured at Summer of Q and NZ Fringe.
