In this fun and super packed four and a half-day workshop with the vivacious Sofia Athineou, you will learn all the basic glass casting techniques of the lost wax method to create your beautiful glasswork.
You will work with clay, wax, plaster and other materials to create your work. Learn how to build molds and, eventually, how to cast the work in glass. Develop an understanding of positive and negative space. After the work has been fired, we will reconnect to de-mold them, learn how to clean them, and do any necessary hand polishing.
