Explore Rongoā Māori – Traditional Māori Healing.

Join us at Onehunga Library for a free, four-week workshop series exploring the philosophies, principles, and practices of Rongoā Māori – traditional Māori healing.

The series will be led by Kairongoā Emma Haslam, of Ngāi Te Rangi and Ngāti Hauā descent, who has spent the past 10 years working alongside Donna Kerridge in her Rongoā Māori practice.

Workshop Schedule:

  • 9 May: Introduction to Rongoā principles
  • 16 May: Making Wai Rākau
  • 23 May: Hīkoi to the ngahere – plant identification
  • 30 May: Bodywork – Tiwawe

No registration needed – just come along.
You’re welcome to attend one, some, or all the sessions, depending on your availability and interest.

This is a wonderful opportunity to deepen your understanding of Māori healing in a relaxed, hands-on, and supportive environment.
