Beloved community 💛 Our Monday Kundalini Yoga classes will pause from July 7 and return on Monday, August 18. I’ll be spending some precious time at the Ram Dass Guru Ashram in Portugal, and part-3_n2b3fik4.png

Every Monday at 6:30 PM, we gather in the heart of Grey Lynn to practice Kundalini Yoga and meditation, a space to cultivate community and be uplifted through shared practice. This 90-minute journey includes selected kriyas and meditations, designed to awaken, balance, and strengthen all systems of your body. It is a multilevel   class which integrates kriyas, breathwork, dynamic movement, mantra, and meditation to relieve stress, and expand awareness. The class is available in person or via Zoom.

Meet Your Instructor

Maheshjoti Kaur (Vivian Medina, PhD)

I was blessed with my spiritual name in the Kundalini Yoga tradition around 2012. Maheshjoti means “The Great Light Lioness of the Divine, whose spiritual greatness brings the light of the Divine into every situation, eliminating negativity and generating new growth and new life.”

I am a devoted yogini, performing artist, and passionate educator, immersed in the wisdom of life through yoga, movement, and yogic science. My journey in yogic science began in 2007 with Kriya Yoga and deepened with Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan in 2012. Since then, my daily practice has profoundly transformed my life.

I am guided by my teachers Nam Nidham Kaur Khalsa (Level 1) and Shiv Charan Singh (Level 2 and Karam Kriya), and I am currently navigating Level 3 training while developing my legacy project in Kundalini Yoga. I specialise in meditation, yoga for women and yoga for overcoming anxiety and depression, and I have also studied Naad Yoga with Parvinder Singh and Atma Kaur.
