Join supportive prenatal yoga classes designed to help you feel strong, calm, and connected. Each class blends gentle strength-building, tension release, and mindful breathwork to support your changing body and growing baby.

The class is taught by a pre and postnatal qualified and experienced instructor (Sarah), and you will be offered many different options throughout the class to help you make the practice your own.

You’ll be guided through:

  • Safe, pregnancy-friendly postures
  • Gentle strengthening and stretching
  • Releasing tension in the hips, back, and shoulders
  • Pelvic floor awareness
  • Calming breathwork and relaxation
  • Birth preparation practices
  • Connection with your baby

Course details

When:

  • Trial Class: Monday March 23rd, 2026, 7:00–8:00 pm.
  • 4-Week Block: Monday March 23rd-April 13th, 2026, 7:00–8:00 pm.

Where:

  • Godwit Room, Te Atatū Peninsula Community Centre, 595 Te Atatū Road, Te Atatū Peninsula

Parking:

  • Plenty of space in the carpark and on-street parking also available.

For Class:

  • Wear comfortable clothes to move in and bring your own mat.
  • All other props provided by instructor: blocks, bolsters, blankets and straps.

Note: This class is best suited for the 2nd and 3rd trimesters. While yoga can be wonderfully supportive in early pregnancy, the 1st trimester is a more delicate time, and it’s important to rest and be gentle with yourself. Please check with your LMC before joining.
