Te Whenua Roa o Kahu – Kaipātiki Cultural Festival is a vibrant, free, community celebration of kapa haka, dance, music, and multicultural performance in the heart of Kaipātiki.
The event brings together local kura, community rōpū, and cultural groups to celebrate te ao Māori and the rich cultural diversity that defines Tāmaki Makaurau. Enjoy powerful kapa haka, traditional and contemporary performances, delicious kai, and whānau-friendly activities in a smoke-free, zero-waste environment. This kaupapa, led by Toi Aro Charitable Trust in partnership with Te Whare Roto o Toi and Te Kamaka Marae, celebrates kotahitanga – unity through culture, language, and art.
