Join friends of our rangers and volunteers for a fun and rewarding morning out in our northern regional parks – ngā papa rēhia o Tāmaki Makaurau.
Bring your whānau and friends and help us plant trees to care for Papatūānuku and keep Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland green and thriving.
Follow the signs to the meeting point. We’ll guide you to the planting site and work alongside you. You’ll head home (possibly) muddy, but happy.
Please wear sturdy, enclosed shoes and kākahu hāngai mō te huarere (weather-appropriate clothing). Planting will go ahead rain, hail or shine (unless there is a weather warning).
Bring a water bottle and if you have them, a spade and gloves – otherwise, we’ll provide everything you need.
Help protect our parks from kauri dieback - please ensure your footwear and equipment are clean before arriving, kia mā ō hū me ō taputapu.
