Immerse yourself in Auckland Libraries Heritage Collections with our Piringatahi | Heritage Collections Up Close sessions.

Tune into a diversity of voices drawn from the oral history and sound archives held in Auckland Libraries Heritage Collections. We’ll reflect on the value that this colourful collection brings to historical research about people, places and social history - illustrated through people's recorded lived experiences at events across centuries.

This Thursday afternoon session runs right after the Notes on Tāmaki concert.

  • 12.10pm - 1pm: Notes on Tāmaki concert
  • 2pm - 3pm: Piringatahi

It’s the perfect midday outing - live music and a rare opportunity to discover the remarkable stories held within our collections.
