Join our rangers, Friends of Green Road, and volunteers for a fun and rewarding morning in your local park.
Bring your whānau and friends and help plant trees to care for Papatūānuku and keep Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland green and thriving.
Getting there:
Follow the signs to the planting site (10-20 minute walk through the reserve). Our team will guide you and work alongside you. You may head home a bit muddy, but happy.
What to bring and wear:
- Sturdy enclosed shoes
- Weather-appropriate clothing (planting will go ahead rain or shine unless there is a weather warning)
- A water bottle
- A spade and gloves if you have them (otherwise provided)
Kauri dieback hygiene:
Please make sure your footwear and equipment are clean before arriving (kia mā ō hū me ō taputapu).

- Completely free - no tickets or payments required
- No dogs, to help protect wildlife.
