Have you always wanted to learn to sew? Do you have a sewing machine but don’t know how to use it? This workshop is for you!

Over 2.5 hours you will learn about:

  • machine threading and bobbin winding
  • starting and finishing sewing
  • tools for sewing
  • basic sewing techniques (straight and zig-zag stitching)
  • achine care and basic trouble shooting.

You will practice stitching straight lines, turning corners, sewing curves and more!

You will then make a reversible shopping bag, using your new skills, to take home with you.

What’s included?

  • Use of our sewing machines or bring your own sewing machine to get familiar with how it works.
  • All sewing tools, fabrics, threads and more for use during the workshop.
  • Workbook with points we cover during the workshop.
