Hidden beside the bustle of busy motorways and inner-city streets is Auckland city's oldest cemetery.
The setting of wild bush and streams is a significant heritage site and the final resting place of a who's who of Auckland's history - from famous early settlers and politicians to ordinary folks.
David Verran talks about the many communities represented here including Anglican, Catholic, Jewish, Methodist, Presbyterian and Māori.
