Crafters from around Aotearoa are invited to create items for this challenge using hand spun woollen yarn and traditional fibre crafts including:
- knitting
- crocheting
- felting
- weaving
- rug-making.
All wool used must be either naturally coloured or dyed only with plant dyes. Judging will be held on the day.
There will be adult, children, and shawl classes in the knitting and crocheting categories. Other categories are felting, weaving, rug making, plant dying and rare breeds.
