Aerial action over Te Auaunga Oakley Creek
More than 124 tonnes of uprooted trees, bridge structures and other debris were lifted during 10 hours of operations, as a result of arborists, engineers, stream specialists and helicopter crew working to clear Te Auaunga Oakley Creek Walkway creek.
Wairaki / Lynfield Reserve – signed, sealed and delivered
It’s the first park in Puketāpapa to have its returned name signposted. In 2022, Puketāpapa Local Board formally adopted traditional Māori names for 17 parks which have been given dual names.
