Applications for Manurewa Local Board grant funding reached almost $200,000 in the latest round.

Dogs - a postie’s best friend?
With the help of the Albert-Eden Local Board Arts Broker and a $3000 local board grant, Postie Mike, A Dog’s Best Friend was published in December 2022. It is an illustrated children’s book, based on real dogs in the community.

Rangatahi urged to apply for Tuia mentoring programme
The city’s five southern local boards will all take part in this year’s Tuia rangatahi mentoring programme. Papakura Local Board 2022 Tuia representative Isabelle Penrose (Ngāi Tai ki Tāmaki) is urging rangatahi to apply.
