This year the Papakura Children’s Forest celebrated its 30th anniversary.

Each year parents and whānau of children born in Papakura in the past year are invited to commemorate their child’s birth by planting a tree.

Some families are now planting trees for a second generation of children. The forest is regularly audited to ensure that any damaged or missing trees are quickly replaced and the forest continues to thrive.

Papakura Children's Forest is on Settlement Road in Red Hill.
