Te Rangi Hiroa youth park set to rock

Try your skills on a climbing wall and rope course or shoot some hoops at Te Rangi Hiroa youth destination park, from 10am to 2pm on 1 October.

The park, on the corner of Birdwood Road and Glen Road in Rānui, has a number of new facilities designed specifically for youth aged 12 and older.

There’s a multi-sport half court and full court, a climbing wall, rope course, whānau shelter, barbecue,
picnic tables, bike rack and more.

The day will be a fantastic opportunity to try out all the new equipment. There will be games and activities on the multi-use court organised by Sport Waitākere.

Youth bands and DJs will perform live on stage. Free refreshments will be available. You are also
welcome to bring a picnic.

And don’t forget your basketball!
