Mayor Len Brown has described the Auckland Unitary Plan as the most important piece of work undertaken by Auckland Council in its first two terms.
In an interview with legendary broadcaster and communications consultant Ian Fraser, Len Brown says the unitary plan finally agreed to by councillors unanimously on August 15 was a more bullish document than was earlier anticipated.
Despite all the debate, Len Brown says he never doubted the Auckland Unitary Plan would be passed.
